A word from Bobbi, the 'Frozen Family' costume creator:
Of course, my oldest 2 daughters wanted to be Anna & Elsa! So we decided to do a Frozen theme. My oldest daughter has red hair so she wanted to be Anna. And, of course, we had to add the white streak! And, my second daughter wanted to be Elsa (just like every other girl right now!) And my son & youngest daughter aren't old enough to have an opinion so they wear whatever I put on them. In the picture: Kyle (6 years old) is Anna; Ryan (4 years old) is Elsa, Kaden (2 years old) is Kristoff, & Piper (6 months old) is Olaf. All costumes were purchased (except for accessories that we already had or made like headband & pipe cleaners for Olaf's hair) except for the Kristoff costume. I searched for one but only found one that cost $150. So I decided to make my own. I found instructions for a DYI No-Sew Disney Frozen Kristoff costume. (I've never sewn a thing in my life!) I used the following materials to make the Kristoff costume: charcoal gray t-shirt, black stiffened felt (for the collar), charcoal gray beanie, 1 large black pom pom (for the beanie), fur, maroon fabric (for the sash), maroon ribbon, purple ribbon, embellished ribbon, heat 'n bond, & hot glue. This was the first costume I've ever made and I think it turned out pretty good. My son loved it and didn't want to take it off. In fact, he wanted to sleep in it. So, it was definitely worth it! And my oldest two daughters loved having their siblings all dressed up like the characters from their favorite movie!
